I have been teaching as a Learning Specialist in the Special Education Department in North Wasco for the past 18 years.

I was teaching at The Dalles Middle School for 15 years before coming to Innovations Academy. I have also coached TDMS track for 9 years and  TDMS XC for 5 years. My first teaching job was teaching English as a second language in Debrecen Hungary. I taught there for two years.

I live in The Dalles with my husband, my 2 horses, 2 cats and  dog. We have 3 grown children and 1 granddaughter. I enjoy spending time with my family, horseback riding, traveling, kayaking, and being outdoors.

My montra is this “Yesterday is history, Tomorrow is a mystery, Today is a gift, that is why it is called the PRESENT”

I have been teaching for the last seven years, the last three have been online. I grew up riding horses and hunting small and big game. I have a son, who is "all boy" and is my complete world.  Most of our free time is spent outdoors. We love to go bird hunting with our son and love the exaggerated stories he comes up with after each adventure.
