☀️Summer RISE K–5 (By Invitation)☀️
North Wasco County School District invites selected K–5 students to participate in Summer RISE, a focused summer learning program designed to strengthen literacy skills and support academic growth in a supportive environment.
Selection Criteria for Invitation
Students may receive an invitation to Summer RISE based on:
- Literacy performance below grade level, as identified through the Winter i-Ready Diagnostic
- Staff and teacher recommendations
- Learning readiness, including:
- Adaptability to new situations
- Academic readiness
- Attendance
Families of eligible students will receive an invitation directly from the school or district.

Calling all North Wasco students who just completed grades 6–12 this school year — Summer SOAR is open to all students!
Program Details
- Dates: June 24 – July 28
- Time: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Days: Monday – Thursday
