The Dalles High School
What is Career Technical Education?Career and technical education (CTE) is the practice of teaching specific career skills to students in middle school, high school, and post-secondary institutions. Course are intended to simulate industry standards as much as possible. It is the policy of North Wasco County School District that all career and technical education opportunities are available to all students, including all protected classes. The lack of English Language skills will not be a barrier to admission and participation in CTE programs. Career and Technical Education is split into 16 career areas that apply to different high-demand careers.
The Dalles High School has six approved CTE programs and is in the process of adding a seventh.
