🏈 Football
The Riverhawks hosted the Astoria Fishermen on Friday night and suffered their first loss of the season.

Next Game: The Hawks have a bye week and will return to action on Friday, September 26 vs. Philomath (Sid White Field).

JV2: Hosted Molalla on Monday, September 8. The game was shortened at the end of the 3rd quarter due to lightning.
⚽ Girls’ Soccer
Varsity carried the week as both JV and JV2 saw games canceled.

@ Klamath Union (Neutral, Bend, 9/9): Varsity defeated the Pelicans 2–0.

vs. Baker (9/12): The Hawks dominated early, winning 8–0 at halftime (mercy rule).

State Ranking: Now ranked #2 in Oregon.

🏐 Volleyball
The Hawks continued strong play across all levels.

@ La Grande (9/9): Varsity swept the Tigers 3–0. JV also won, while JV2 dropped their match.

JV2 @ Horizon Christian (9/11): JV2 bounced back with a win.

Sisters Tournament (9/13): Varsity defeated Crook County 2–0 in pool play before falling in a close match to Sisters 2–1.

The Riverhawks competed in the Oregon City Invite, facing some of the top 6A runners in the state.

JV Boys: 14th place team finish. Top Runner – Phoenix Nanie (18:46.80)

Varsity Girls: Led by Abigail Pope (21:59.20), finished 13th overall.

The #1-ranked Riverhawks stayed unbeaten with three big wins this week.

vs. #7 Tillamook (9/9): Varsity won 5–3, JV mercy-ruled the Cheesemakers 10–0 at halftime.

vs. Klamath Union (Neutral, Bend, 9/11): Varsity won 2–0.
