Monday, August 28th, will now be a transition day. Only students in kindergarten, sixth, and ninth grades will attend this day. All other grades will begin on Tuesday, August 29th. This change aims to provide a smoother transition for these incoming students, allowing them to acclimate to their new schools, familiarize themselves with teachers, staff, and classmates, and get a bit of a head start before the other grades begin. Additionally, our elementary schools (grades K-5) will be operating on an early release schedule each day (Monday-Friday) for this first week. Students will be dismissed at 12:00 pm. This gives our teachers time in the afternoon to take part in professional development. All schools, with the exception of Innovations Academy, will be following an early release schedule for Wednesdays this school year. |
