Notice: Destruction of Special Education Records

Special Education records include identification, evaluation, educational placement, or the provision of occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech-language pathology or other related services made available as determined through the Individual Education Plan process. 

These records are no longer needed by the district but may be useful to the parent/guardian or former student who may apply for social security benefits, rehabilitation services, college entrance, etc.

If a student wants to obtain their record, he/she needs to sign a consent for release of information and provide photo identification. The record can be obtained at the North Wasco County District - Student Services office in person. All unclaimed records will be destroyed on February 1, 2024.
