NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING

Meeting Schedule

Tuesday, May 5, 2026: First Budget Committee Meeting.

Agenda: Elect presiding officers,

Receive Budget Message, and receive the Proposed Budget Document.

Receive questions and comments from citizens; Committee deliberation.

Tuesday, May 12, 2026: Second Budget Committee Meeting (if needed).
Tuesday, May 19, 2026: Third Budget Committee Meeting (if needed).

The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget. This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place. Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee. A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained on or after April 30, 2026, at 3632 W 10th St, The Dalles, OR, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

The meetings will be livestreamed for viewing via the District’s Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/northwascoschools. The meetings will also be recorded and available via a link on the District website at: http://www.nwasco.k12.or.us no later than three business days following the meetings.
