How AVID Works BROCHURE
AVID brings research‐based strategies and curriculum to educational institutions in elementary, secondary, and higher education. The AVID System annually provides more than 30,000 educators with training and methodologies that develop students’ critical thinking, literacy, and math skills across all content areas throughout the entire campus.

Who is eligible for the AVID Elective Class?
The AVID Elective Class is for students willing to work hard in school and enroll in academically challenging classes such as Advanced Placement and Dual Credit Classes. They may also be the first in their family to go to college, low income or from ethnic groups underrepresented on college campuses.
