Vision Statement: The Dalles High School counseling department will meet the needs of students in an equitable way that continues with focus on academic experience, career and college readiness, social/emotional support, and community engagement. Through the use of data in these areas, it will aid in closing the achievement and opportunity gap in our diverse community. Cultural responsiveness will support the needs of our students and families to break barriers in chosen career or college pathways. The counseling staff will inspire our students to pursue rigorous and relevant educational opportunities that will pave their future.

Mission Statement: In partnership with the community, we empower each student to have essential knowledge, skills, and attitudes to be lifelong learners as healthy productive citizens in a constantly evolving workforce in an increasing diverse world.

FAQ's

  • When is the last day I can change my schedule?

You can request a schedule change up to the end of the 6th school day of the current trimester if an alternate class is available. If it is after the 6th day administrative approval is required and the dropped class will remain on your transcript including a 'F' for the grade.


  • Where do I request my official transcript?

Email Sharlene [email protected] or your school counselor. Please include the following: Graduation Year, Legal Name, Where you want transcript sent?


  • What are some ways that my school counselor can support me?
