Volunteer Information

Welcome Volunteers!

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the North Wasco County School District. We appreciate the time and energy that our volunteers invest into students each day! Our volunteer team makes a difference in helping staff and students succeed at the important task of preparing tomorrow's leaders. Whether you are a family member of a student, or a community member wanting to help, we would love to have you on our volunteer team.

Research shows that when families get involved, students succeed!  Volunteering is one way to show your child that you value education and care about his or her future. This increases motivation, work ethic, and learning. By volunteering, you are showing your child that you believe in his or her ability to succeed. Join your child at school and make learning a family affair!

Community members who volunteer make a positive difference for our students and community. As a volunteer, you serve as an adult role model, help teachers to have more time to invest into student learning, and allow programs to exist that provide extra support for students. Volunteering shows our youth that they are valuable and worth spending time with, helping them to make the real-world connection between their hard work and future success.

For additional information, please contact the school principal for the school at which you wish to volunteer or Jessica Reyes at the District Office, 3632 West 10th St., by phone at 541.506.3420, ext. 1000 or by email at [email protected].
