All parents are now members of Colonel Wright's parent group! Our new PTO is not affiliated with the National PTA so there are no dues required, and we will raise all the funds we use. The PTO is run strictly by volunteer parents and teachers.

CW's PTO's mission statement is to build a strong school community. We do this by advocating for our families, supporting our faculty and providing fun events that bring our school community together. We encourage our families to get involved at CW in any way that you can, whether it's helping from home, volunteering in the classroom or helping at our fundraisers and events.

The following are some of the ways that we raise funds for our school:

               Fall Walk-a-thon

              Family Portraits

              See's Candy Sales

              E-scrip

              Box Tops

              Pennies for Projects

In the past, the funds generated from the fundraisers have gone towards teacher stipends, assemblies for our students, purchase of playground equipment and much more.

We really need more parents involved! Please come to our meetings to find out how you can help. Free babysitting is always provided, so bring the kids and see what CW PTO is all about! Meetings take place in the library on the first Friday of the month after school.

Remember School Spirit Day every Friday - wear your school colors: Red and Black.
