2012 Summer School Program for Middle School and High School students
Dates: Monday, June 25th, 2012 through Thursday, July 26th, 2012 (**Except for HS Science - see below) Times: AM Session / 9:00 am to 11:30 am and PM Session / 12:30 to 3:00 pm Days: Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays only *Please note schedule change for LANGUAGE ARTS HIGH SCHOOL ONLY: Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays ** Please note that High School SCIENCE will start on Tuesday, July 3rd until Thursday, August 9th (Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays) Location: The Dalles Wahtonka High School main campus (220 East 10th Street, The Dalles) Cost: Middle School / $72.00 per credit; High School / $95.00 per credit or $95.00 per 1/2 credit for the online credit recovery Applications Accepted Until: Thursday, June 21st, 2012 Orientation: Friday, June 22nd, 2012 from 12:15 pm to 12:45 pm in the auditorium at The Dalles Wahtonka HS AM Sessions: Language Arts / High School Math (Algebra/Geometry) PM Sessions: Physical Science / Biology / Global Studies / Middle School Math (Math Competencies) Summer School teachers will provide assistance to students in completing course work necessary to retrieve partial or full credit in the subject areas noted in the sessions above. Incoming 8th and 9th grade students will be working toward improving skill levels in Math and Language Arts. The NWCSD 21 summer meal program will provide at no charge, sack lunches for students between 11:30 am and 12:30 pm on summer school days. Enrollment fees should be delivered to The Dalles Wahtonka High School main office; cash, debit/credit, and checks will be accepted (please make checks out to The Dalles Wahtonka High School). A receipt will be issued at the time of payment. Please maintain your receipt as proof of enrollment. Enrollment fees are final and nonrefundable with the only exception being that if a student completes their course credit prior to June 15th, 2012.
